Financing is the key to any real estate transaction. Unless you are paying cash for the home you will need some sort of financing. Is FHA, VA or Conventional best for you? Are their special programs available for first time buyers? Should you get a fixed rate or an adjustable rate? These are questions I was asked when I worked as a lender for many years. Now since the lending rules and programs have changed I defer those questions to lenders that I trust.

You must be pre-approved to make an offer on a home. Sellers will not give your offer any merit unless it is accompanied by a pre-approval letter from a reputable lender. The lenders I have listed below are very good and I strongly suggest that you speak with one of them to get pre-approved as soon as possible.
